Product Optimization for Version 2.0 \u2013 Plastics<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Advantis contributed to the development and product optimization of version 2.0 of a Phillips-Medisize product.<\/p>\n

Our consultant was an integrated part of the development team at Phillips-Medisize, with a special focus on design and engineering optimization.<\/p>\n

The work was carried out using Creo and spanned a period of nearly nine months.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Product Configurator<\/span><\/span><\/h5>

Standardization of Product Portfolio and Configurator Design<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Advantis served as a consultant in the standardization and structuring of Salling Plast\u2019s product program.<\/p>\n

As part of the assignment, the company\u2019s products were organized into clearly defined product families. In addition, an Advantis consultant developed a configurator that has reduced the design time for new products by up to 80%.<\/p>\n

The work was carried out in SolidWorks over a period of approximately one year.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Design & Engineering <\/span><\/span><\/h2>

Design of New Production Equipment<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Advantis collaborated with Linatech on this project, where we were responsible for the design and engineering of a cooling fixture<\/strong> for the SGRE blade factory in Aalborg.<\/p>\n

Following the design and construction phase, Linatech handled the production of all fixtures. As part of the solution, Advantis developed a universal pad<\/strong> that could be used across all fixture types and positions.<\/p>\n

The work was carried out in Inventor over a period of approximately six months.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Parametric Design<\/span><\/span><\/h5>

Development of a Parametric Design Model<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Advantis developed a parametric model for Universal Foundation, enabling them to design an entirely new foundation within just a few hours by simply inputting new parameters.<\/p>\n

This work significantly reduced the design time\u2014from 5\u20136 months down to just a single morning.<\/p>\n

The project was carried out in Inventor over a period of approximately 12 months, with 6 months full-time and the remaining 6 months part-time.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Concept Design<\/span><\/span><\/h2>

Autohook Concept Design<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Advantis served as a consultant on a project for Aker BP, F\u00d8N, and Stimwell, where a patented Autohook had been in development for over a decade\u2014but without ever functioning optimally.<\/p>\n

In just 3\u20134 months, Advantis consultants developed a well-functioning solution that effectively addressed the customer's challenges.<\/p>\n

The development work was carried out using Raino and Inventor, and a scale model\/prototype was built to confirm that the concept worked in practice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\"Advantis<\/span><\/div>

Filtration Solution<\/span><\/span><\/h5>

Optimization of Design and Assembly Process\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Advantis assisted EcoVent during the concept and design phases in the development of a patented filtration solution, with a focus on efficient assembly and long service life.<\/p>\n

The solution was developed as a replacement for traditional disposable filters and includes a mechanism for automatic advancement of the filter material, enabling a lifespan of up to 10 years. A key requirement of the project was fast and simple assembly to ensure efficient production and maintenance.<\/p>\n
