Consultant
Product Optimization – Medico
Product Optimization for Version 2.0 – Plastics
Advantis contributed to the development and product optimization of version 2.0 of a Phillips-Medisize product.
Our consultant was an integrated part of the development team at Phillips-Medisize, with a special focus on design and engineering optimization.
The work was carried out using Creo and spanned a period of nearly nine months.

Product Configurator
Standardization of Product Portfolio and Configurator Design
Advantis served as a consultant in the standardization and structuring of Salling Plast’s product program.
As part of the assignment, the company’s products were organized into clearly defined product families. In addition, an Advantis consultant developed a configurator that has reduced the design time for new products by up to 80%.
The work was carried out in SolidWorks over a period of approximately one year.

Design & Engineering
Design of New Production Equipment
Advantis collaborated with Linatech on this project, where we were responsible for the design and engineering of a cooling fixture for the SGRE blade factory in Aalborg.
Following the design and construction phase, Linatech handled the production of all fixtures. As part of the solution, Advantis developed a universal pad that could be used across all fixture types and positions.
The work was carried out in Inventor over a period of approximately six months.

Parametric Design
Development of a Parametric Design Model
Advantis developed a parametric model for Universal Foundation, enabling them to design an entirely new foundation within just a few hours by simply inputting new parameters.
This work significantly reduced the design time—from 5–6 months down to just a single morning.
The project was carried out in Inventor over a period of approximately 12 months, with 6 months full-time and the remaining 6 months part-time.

Concept Design
Autohook Concept Design
Advantis served as a consultant on a project for Aker BP, FØN, and Stimwell, where a patented Autohook had been in development for over a decade—but without ever functioning optimally.
In just 3–4 months, Advantis consultants developed a well-functioning solution that effectively addressed the customer's challenges.
The development work was carried out using Raino and Inventor, and a scale model/prototype was built to confirm that the concept worked in practice.

Filtration Solution
Optimization of Design and Assembly Process
Advantis assisted EcoVent during the concept and design phases in the development of a patented filtration solution, with a focus on efficient assembly and long service life.
The solution was developed as a replacement for traditional disposable filters and includes a mechanism for automatic advancement of the filter material, enabling a lifespan of up to 10 years. A key requirement of the project was fast and simple assembly to ensure efficient production and maintenance.
The work was carried out in Creo over a period of approximately six months.
